Mac, from the first day you stepped into Scranton Musical Mornings, I saw the young musician you aspired to be and I knew how talented you were from the start. You have so much character, a wonderful sense of rhythm and you're always eager to learn. This semester we have introduced and practiced the musical terms 'forte' and 'piano'. Throughout our instrumentation play, the children have been asked to play in forte and then switch to piano viceversa. Mac, you were able to pick up this skill so quickly and gracefully, I was so impressed. It shows how eager you are to learn and how naturally musicianship comes to you. I'm so excited to see how much more you'll learn from our program Mac! Keep up the amazing work, you're a star!

Amelia, I can't put into words how proud of you I am. In fact, had I have not seen your incredible skillsout of the corner of my eye, I don't think I would've believed it. You're an observer, a very smart one. You watched me demonstrate the musical exercises week after week before perfecting your own.
Last Saturday, we tapped on our drums just like we do every week, but this time it was different. I saw you as you tapped perfectly in time with the beat. Not only that, you switched to YOUR LEFT HAND when I instructed and then SWITCHED TO YOUR RIGHT. I had a tear in my eye when I saw your mommys reaction. It was such a moving moment and just shows how intelligent and musically inclined you are. Keep up the amazing work Amelia, you're my little star!

Emery, it was your first class with us on Saturday and I've never seen a little girl so in tune with the beat. You worked so hard and carefully at my instructions whilst being fully prepared to step into Dino mode.
I was so proud of you for walking into class with such enthusiasm and love for music. I just know how much fun and learning you're going have at our program! Keep up the wonderful work Emery. You're a rising star
